Polaris World Golf Courses - Nicklaus Golf Trail

Nicklaus, together with Polaris World, is producing Nicklaus Trail , the highest concentration of Nicklaus-designed courses in the world. The Nicklaus Golf Trail means that an owner or holidaymaker staying on the Polaris World Golf Resorts can play several different top quality 'Nicklaus-designed' golf courses at reduced green fees. All the golf courses are designed to suit golfers at all levels.

At present 9 holes are open at Mar Menor Golf Resort and 18 holes are open at La Torre Golf Resort and El Valle Golf Resort. The course at Hacienda Riquelme is due to open soon. A courtesy coach is available to transport you and your clubs between all the golf resorts.

NICKLAUS GOLF TRAIL

	El Valle golf course is designed with a 'desert' theme and is landscaped around rock-outcroppings, a wide variety of shrubs and desert grasses plus water features including two lakes and waterfall conformations. 	Mar Menor features an abundance of mature palms and olive trees line the fairways, and protect the greens, which are in tip top condition. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Preference given for rounds starting 08:30 to 09:30 and 16:30 to 18:00 if booked with 48 hrs notice.

• The rules of etiquette which apply on all the golf resorts must be respected both on the golf course and on the driving range.

• The permitted handicaps are 28 for gentlemen and 36 for ladies and children.

• A copy of the handicap certificate must be presented before playing.

• The management reserves the right to change the list of tariffs without prior notice. 24 hours notice must be given for cancellations or a penalty of 15 euro will be incurred.

• There are often SPECIAL OFFERS available, so please contact golf course to enquire.

The 3 courses planned at Condado de Alhama include “Jack Nicklaus Signature Courses”. At Condado de Alahama, one of the courses, will exploit the natural valley and characteristic of the changeable terrain and the other two will be what is called 'Bear´s Best', having features from the best of Nicklaus golf holes over the world.

The golf courses are designed by 'Nicklaus Design', a company created in 1973 and since then, has designed 275 golf courses worldwide, 36 of them are among the 100 Best Worldwide Golf Courses. Nicklaus Design pay careful attention to detail whilst also respecting the environment and the natural surroundings where the resorts are located. These courses fulfil the highest professional and quality standards.
